Bere Mill (Upper Test). Bere Mill is situated on the pristine upper river Test. A generous beat that offers a diverse array of fly water for between 1 and 3 rods. Main river, hatch pools and a carrier stream system that form part of the historic water meadow system. The beat is wild, requires wading in parts and is a wild trout beat run on a catch and release basis. Barbless hooks please. The fishing is challenging but wonderfully rewarding. The owners are keen environmentalists. The garden and farmland is managed according to organic principles and the surrounding water meadows are natural pasture.
