The Nursling Mill trout beat offers main river, double bank fishing from the Broadlands boundary downstream to way below the beautiful Nursling Mill and beyond. This offers excellent value trout fishing with phenomenal mayfly hatches – the thickest we’ve seen anywhere. The river here broadens out considerably and often produces very large trout that run downstream toward the estuary, as well as the occasional salmon and sea trout. The beat facilities include a fishing hut with tea and coffee facilities, BBQ and private car park.
