These beautiful braided beats on the upper river Kennet offer a variety of fishing from main river to small streams with hatch pools, bends and classic riffles. The estate has now included a long stretch of the main river Kennet for Denford rods to fish. River keeper Toby Hudson has worked very hard over recent winters make some amazing improvements to the river here.

The beats at Denford are largely carriers but include some of the main River Kennet and half waters stretching over two miles allowing plenty of space to wonder whilst remaining relatively close to base.

The beat is stocked and it has a very healthy population of wild trout including some specimen Kennet ‘green backs’ and grayling.  Denford lies at the confluence of the rivers Dunn and Kennet just downstream of Hungerford.    Please ask for details.
