Mostly bank fishing with the addition of two beautiful wading reaches.  One up to the famous Long Bridge pool.  Mainly double bank. The perfect dry-fly beat. This is an idyllic location on a totally private manor house estate, with both wild and stocked brown trout to pursue. Formally the home of historic sportsman Lt Col Peter Hawker, who in the 19th century fished from horseback after being wounded in the Peninsula Wars.

Fishers at Longparish can base themselves in one of the thatched riverside huts or take up the option to include exclusive use of The Old Chapel for a fully catered luncheon.  Catering can be arranged by the award winning Greyhound on the Test within our group / corporate packages.  Please ask for details.
